It seems no one has left his school before. Now that we are seniors. Others have gone out into the world, and to us are only a memory, Now that we are seniors. We wonder if after we have gone that's the way it will be, Now that we are seniors. No more bumpy school bus rides so early in the morning, When we graduate. No more teachers giving tests without a bit of warning, When we graduate. But it also means an end to things we have found fun, When we graduate. It seems our school days are over and they're only just begun, When we graduate. What does the future hold for us? Will it be more than the past? can answer that. accomplish as the years go by so fast? can answer that. our health and happiness with us l0 years from now? can answer that. og 1 955 It was the year 1970 when we RUTH RINGENBERG and MARY RUTH SANFORD started out on the Sanford Rrng enberg Plano and Vorce Recrtal World Concert tour Ltttle drd we thrnk of all the adventure wtth our former class mates that thts trtp would have rn store for us Whtle we wanted for our plane ln New York we dectded to attend an excluslve style show We were thttlled by the new becomtng styles and wondered who had desrgned them Much to our surprlse we learned that the fashton destgner was MADAME HUMMEL We talked wrth Carolyn afterwards and she told us that NANCY FULLER who was another classmates was the hatr styllst of the models rn the show Nancy told us of a Broadway stage show whrch was belng gtven tn New York The four of us decided to attend the show The co stars of the play looked very famtllar to us but we knew no one wtth the names Clark Montgomery and Zsa Zsa Turner My were we thrrlled to fmd that the new young actor and actress were none other than PETE FILLMAN and MARY HORTON Afterwards as we mrxed wtth the crowd to get therr autographs they spent a few mlnutes talklng to us about our hrgh school days They told us that our former schoolmate ANNE GINEMAN was the celebrated playwrtght of therr successful show Eventng tn Parts After spendrng a deltghtful evenrng wlth our old frrends we left New York for Norway After we arrrved the followlng morning to change planes we enjoyed a drrve out 1n the rolling country We notlced a large freld of cattle and to our amazement we learned that the former MARILYN SCHUBERT and her husband Kenneth Smtth were happtly marrted and managing a very prosperous datry business Our flrght conttnued over the Carlbbean Sea and we stopped for refueling at Porto Rlco A navy fleet was statroned there We thought we recogmzed one of the offrctals Yes sure enough there was NOEL MANSFIELD who was the commander of that navy fleet Contlnulng on our tour our plane had to make an emergency flight rnto Central Afrtca My' we were surprlsed to fmd that one of our classmates was rn Afrtca GLADYS MARCH was serving as a forergn mtsslonarywrthher husband Gladys told us that DICK ENDSLEY had been there only a few days before wtth hrs au force squadron of whrch he was commander We remembered that Drck always was Interested rn the Arr Force After vrsttlng wtth Gladys we were on our way once agarn Thts ttme we were destrned for Swrtzerland whlch was to be our last stop on our forergn concert Whlle we were In Swrtzerland we dectded to travel over some of the beautrful mountainous farms There we met one of our former classmates who was the chref sheep herder rn and happy wrth hrs pretty wtfe We boarded our plane once agarn to leave for the states We were pleased to have an effrclent stewardess as SlSt us The stewardess we learned was also an old classmate JANET MANSFIELD who was just as charming as ever Janet talked to us on our return trtp and tnformed us that RONALD MATTHIAS had now rtsento the posltlon of prestdent at Prrnceton Unrverslty After our arrrval rn Los Angeles Calrfornra we heard of a famous band whrch was playr at leadrng ntght clubs We attended the Stork Club at the place where we drscovered thrs famous band to be ead by none other than CASEY JONES Talklng with Casey later we learned that MR GARY SMITH had been slrghtly rnjured whtle englneertng a large construction project We decrded to VlSll htm tn one of the hosprtals ln Los Angeles To our surprtse we discovered that the director of nurses at the hospttal was our former classmate BETTY KUNESH Soarrng to our next stop tn Chrcago we encountered some motor trouble It seems our plane s mam engrne had not recerved the proper tnspectlon and much to our amazement we found ourselves rn the mrddle of a Montana wheat fteld Immedtate ard was offered by the owner of the huge ranch You can tmagrne our surprrse when we recogmzed the rancher to be none other than GARY GROLL whose wrfe served us a dellcrous meal whlle we watted for our plane to be repaired On our way once more we landed rn Chlcago rn tlme to take tn a baseball game before our evenrng concert The Chtcago Cubs were playrng at their home fleld We were shocked and surprrsed to hear that the startrng pitcher for the Cubs was our now famous BALDY THIEROFF The next mornmg durrng a conducted tour through Chrcago we passed a replrca of Hull House Our conductor explamed to us that thts famous house was under the able drrectron of SHIRLEY HOELLRICH Our last appearance was to be rn Washmgton D C Followlng our evenmg concert we were greeted backstage by our old pal DENNIS FRASER Whrle talkrng to htm he informed us of the posrtron he held at the Pentagon and of the ftne assrstance he recelved from hrs efftcrent secretary MARY ANN WISEMAN who was a good frrend of ours rn school Denny also told us of the advancement of LAURA SCHOMBURG following her career tn the WACS She holds a good positron rn a Washmgton offtce Smce the Washmgton stop completed our tour we boarded the plane to our home The trrp home was spent rn srlence as we were sttll gettmg over the many surprlses we had encountered It was almost unbelrevable that our classmates of 1955 had gone so far rn ftfteen years Ruth Rmgenberg Mary Ruth Sanford 18 that area.
