S 65444 TOP TO BOTTOM Mr' Newton' On September Z, 1952, our class started our sophomore year with atotal of thirty members. As we looked among our old friends, we saw two new faces belonging to Mary Horton and Nancy Fuller. Ronald Matthias. Shirley Hoellrich, Roger Engel, Mary Ruth Sand ler and Mary Limpach who are now attending two other schools. After a few weeks of school had passed we, sophomores, chose our officers. We feel that Ron- . ald Matthias, presidentg Shirley Hoellrich, vice- -' president, Roger Engel, secretaryg and Mary Ruth Sanford, treasurer, will make very capable leaders. We are proud to have a few of our boys taking 1 part in baseball and basketball. We are glad to see D Gary Smith, Ronald Matthias, Lavon Thieroff, Pete T Fillman, Roger Engel and Dick Endsley playing var- sity basketball. To back our team we must have a good cheering section, and we think that Janet Mans- field and Carol Yenser from our class did a great job. We have twelve members who are in the band.
