Boys ' State Boy ' s State is a miniature state government which takes place annually at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. The week of busy activity and study serves to acquaint the students with the processes of our state government and to prepare them for good citizenship. We honor George Kite, the student chosen to attend last year. Girls ' State Chosen to attend Girls ' State on the campus of North Carolina Woman ' s College in G r e e n s b o ro were Bonnie Tumage and Judy Stillman. It, too, serves to prepare young girls for worthy citizenship. 20
