Hon and Personnel Mrs. Elizabeth O ' Berry joined our staff this year as guidance counselor. She worked diligently in solving problems, finding employment, and aiding the seniors in selecting colleges. Mrs. Annette Sasser was a great asset to the students as well as faculty and served our school well as secretary. Mrs. Iris Thome, secretary, was ef¬ ficient in her work, but she also brightened our day with her pleasant smile and voice.

R. DONALD JONES Principal Our Mniiuista Dear Seniors: It is with a great deal of pleasure that I have the honor of bidding you your final farewell from Charles B. Aycock High School. It is also with a great deal of regret that I do so because your presence at Charles B. Aycock will now become part of its history and the association with you will not be as it has been in the past. Many times you have expressed a desire to reach this rung in your educational ladder, but now that it has arrived, you know you are not only graduating from a school but into a school; one that will teach you for the remainder of your life. The name of your future school is Society and is also one in which you will become an intimate part. As you venture down the road of your various vocations and occupations, I hope you will produce to your greatest potential and practice the training you have been exposed to in the past.
