Endeavoring to carry on the task set before it by past classes, the Axtonion Staff of 1951 has worked hard to represent the various organizations and members of our school impartially and with the most interest possible. Many of the staff members received training in 195 0 as Junior representatives on the staff. Because of the valuable training it gives the oncoming staff members, this plan has again been successfully used this year. It is to the art editor that the Axtonion pays appreciation for the many varied sketches, including the sketch of our school inside the covers. To the advisor, sincere gratitude for all her time, thought, and effort, is ex- tended. The staff hopes that this annual in the role of a permanent record will be of interest not only to those engaged in training, but also to those interested in high school work. It is the earnest wish that this volume will carry on the spirit of Axton High School. I
