TRACK TEAM ln 1953, Avondale had a championship mile relay team which took first place in almost every meet in which it competed. This year, three of the hoys on this relay team are returning, along with sev- eral other outstanding memhers of the track team. As the annual went to press, prospects for an excellent track season looked good. With the new track and other athletic facilities, the team had high hopes of adding to the number of trophies won in 1958. These tro- phies are pictured at right. 1332
