Dear Diary The F. H. A. girls have had a busy year with different par- ties, social meetings and business meetings. In September we had a hot dog roast and our annual Kick-Off Dance. October brought business meetings and a special Halloween party. There were two business meetings in November and we packed a Christmas box in December. 1952 started out with a business meeting and making of plans for our February dance. February was our big dance, Cupids Bounce. March highlights wereltwopbusiness meet- ings and a trip to Lansing to the conventign The new ffi . o cers Wegedelected in April and WBP0 installed in May. The year was en e when we sent our delegates to camp in Battle Creek. Kathryn Kramp represents the Avondale Chapter as State Sec- retary and Connie Briggs is Regional President Mrs. Bri s is our wonderful chapter mother. Cur club could not functionggight without the r f 1 i ca e u gu dance of Mrs. Swartz, who was made an hononary'member last year because of her interest in the club and its success. The officers of our club for this year have done a wonder- ful job and they have worked hard to make our club a success. The club has sponsored several activities including record dances. candy sales at basketball games. and The Spring Festival. Some of the club members were also seen riding the donkey's in our donkey basketball game, which was under the asupices of 'AW Club. The proceeds of these events are going into a fund for lights on our athletic field. , New members were initiated into the club last fall, which is one of the club's social events.
