Dear Diary, Closing the season strong, Avondale had a most decisive vic- tory againet Lake Orion in the tournaments at Pontiac High School ghen in the next game Avondale was out scored by a tall Rochester ve. The team will loose five seniors this year including our diminutive captain Jerry Sigler, guards Dick Sargent and Jack Ferguson, and forwards Jim Hulen and Ben Forbush. Due to the lack of height the team was not able to compile an outstanding record although they seemed to play best against the league leaders. The captain Jerry Sigler led in points with 175 followed by Holland 111, Ferguson 77, Spencer 58, Graham LS, Hulen 25, Forbush 18, Vancil 16, Sargent 8, Hoehn 8, and Mora 2.
