In I2 memanance , Teen-age boy killed in an automobile accident. Today's headlines- -tomorrow's forgotten tragedy f--but before we pass on, let us contemplate a while on the life of Art Hoover. Some of you didn't know Art, other than an occasional hello or such: but those of us, in athletics, knew he was all boy-- maybe different in ap- pearance and speech-- but still a boy, with much the same ideas as other youth, not too much for school and work , but all for sports of all types, family, fr i e n d s , basketball, and baseball. V Art dearly loved athletics--they w e r e his.-life. He was fond of his friends, his coach, and his buddies. We are sure that he passed away happy, on one of God's wonderful days, before the sun had re ached noon. This is symbolic of his e a r l y departure --in the morning of life-- many good times with many good things done, friends and athletics. He had a great love of life and sports. Art had his happy days on earth, and now, he has made his debut before God. May God see fit to give him the chance to accomplish the task that he was sent on earth to do. ' 4
