last Wlll ADC IGSIIAHIEHI We, the Senior Class of Avon High School, City of Avon, Washington Town- ship, County of Hendricks, District No. 6, State of Indiana, Great Northern Hemisphere, on the planet, Earth, and solar system of the great universe, being of sane mind and sound body, do make, declare, and publish this our last will and testament, that is to say, we do give and bequeath our personal belongings to the following, provided they take them in the manner in which they are given. ARTICLE I To Mr. Walls, we leave the Juniors, provided they don't cause him anymore headaches than we did. To Mr. Davis, we leave our Government and Sociology books, in the hope that he will give them to the Juniors so they won't have to miss class. To Mr. Scudder, we leave Eddie Francis Qcaptainl, David Huffman, Billy Nester, Henry Freitag, Karen Gray, and Ronald Nowling, if they will win all the tourneys. To Mrsa Kirk, we leave the Juniors for her typing class, if she will let them out of class to work on their Annual and Shakespearean Echo. To Mr. McClain, we leave all the diagraming of sentences, provided he can teach the other classes, as he tried to teach us. To Mrs. Huffman, we leave all the type cleaner and correction fluid that wasn't used this year, provided she won't fill the bottles up with alcohol. To Mr. Woody, we leave a nice quiet study hall during the first period. To Mrs. McCormick, we leave all our aint's lf. and-a's. To Mrs. Abbott, we leave the Sophomores, provided she can teach them th manners we didn't learn. X To Mr. Feller, we leave all broken hammer handles and dead animals. 'lil To Mr. Bowen, we leave all music and instruments, provided he doesn't lose them. To the nurse, Mrs. Hadley, we leave all our aches and pains. To the librarian, Mrs. Lawson, we leave all lost encyclopedias and over- due books. To the janitors, Lovell Parsons and Carl Price, we leave all the papers and all broken milk bottles, provided they don't break any more bottles than we did. ARTICLE II To the Juniors, we leave our admirable ways with hope that they can talk the teachers into graduating them asvwe did. I, Margaret Shipley, do will my position as majorette to Shelby Hash, in hope that she will keep it all through high school. I, Duane Fleener, do hereby will my yell-leading ability to Charlie Hash, provided he can get into my size 40 sweater. I, Marjorie Bremer, do will and bequeath all the ditto masters in the mime- ograph room to Don Ludlow, provided he gets twice as blue as I have. I, Kathryne Stewart, do hereby will my position as cheer leader to Diana Meunier, provided she touches her head with her feet and turns flips, as I have tried to do. I, Doris Winings, do hereby will my experience as majorette to Sara, Jane, and Jean, provided they carry on as I have the past six years. I, Louise Gibbs, do hereby will and bequeath my stenographic ability to Mildred Faulkner, provided she doesn't lose her typewriter over twice a day. I, Virginia Bates, do hereby will my ambition and my good grades to Bar- bara Lewis, provided that she will study as I do. I, Sue Hawkins, do will my position as Exchange Editor to Sherry Brown, provided she will get the papers out on time. I, Clara Bowles, will my hair to Betty Brothers, with the provision that she sets it at least once a week. I, Jim Ahern, do hereby leave and bequeath to Carl Bates all my jokes and bright sayings, provided he can have a bright saying for every occasion. I, Janet Selch, do hereby will my position as Mr. Walls' secretary, to Joy Bosley, provided she will keep it for both her Junior and Senior years and will have at least four typing erasers at all times. I, Charlotte Tharp, do will my ability to be editor of the Annual to Lois Parsons, provided she won't take more than ten bottles of aspirin. I, Joe Dickey, do hereby will my big feet to Jimmy Miller, provided he stands on them once a day, and my ability to get women to Larry Webb. I, Jim Knarr, do hereby will my hair to Ronald Mears. I, Beauford Estes, do will my ability to play hooky from school without being caught to Ronnie Mears. I, Duane Flanagan, do will my red hair to Jerry Smith, ifhe combs it at least 10 times a day. I, Connie Lynch, do will my ability to skip study hall to Bob Gray, in the hope that he doesn't get caught by Feeny . I, Joyce Gerdts, do will my jokes and bright sayings to Dorothy Cramer and my Spanish course to Joe Money, if he will study as I have. I, Jo-Ann Shipley, do will my popularity to Rebecca Roberts, in hope that she will be kind to everbody. I, Maxine Gilley, do hereby will and bequeath my athletic ability to Sherry Brown. , I, Jim Dickey, do will and bequeath my basketball playing ability to Alan McDonald and the mimeograph room and all machines to Harry Bradley and Joel Birch, provided they cut study halls to hide in there.
