Four years in high school We’ve had to go through. But the hardest one we had Was the one when we lost you. We thought it was the end As we lay our heads down to cry. But we helped each other through And were willing to give it a try. Just knowing you’d be happy And one day teach us to fly. You left a lot of friends behind And made it hard for us to part With the one friend we all cherished And whose friendship we held close to our heart. Your smile was like the sun. It brightened our dullest day. Your laughter made us feel happy. It seemed to show us the way. We’ll never forget the memories You’ve given us through the years. If only you were here, there ' d be no need to shed these tears. We will one day see you again But until that day, we hope you know Your memory is with us forever. And we will never let it go.
