Table °f Contents Dedication Administration Faculty Seniors Underclassmen Vocational Activities Sports Advertisements 2 In Memoriam to Joseph Tibaudo I JOSEPH TIBAUDO (1948-1960) In memory of Joseph Tibaudo, a sincere and beloved friend to all of us. As a member of the graduating class of 1966, he took part in our school and social functions. His character, humor, intelligence, and wit made his presence a delight for all who knew him. Joseph’s memory will always be instilled in our hearts. O W T ' ’dicabion v Every year the Senior Class dedicates the yearbook to a person they feel deserves a special place in the graduates’ memories. In holding with this tradition, the Senior Class of 1966 dedicates the yearbook to a man who is not only a teacher, but an advisor and a friend. A rare combination of ded- ication and trust, this man has worked to guide our class from adolescents to young adults. We hope as the graduates of today and leaders of tomorrow, we can live up to the standards he has taught us. As a token of our sincere appreciation and with the deepest pride, we the class of 1966 dedicate our yearbook to ; Mr. John Shanahan 5 To Alan Lander In Appreciation Although Mr. Lander claims to not care what a student accomplishes, he never ceases to remind us that what we do now sets the basis for our future. Through his impeccable image as a teacher he has set forth a standard proving that hard work yields rewards in the future. Avon High School, and especially the class of “66”, is honored to have Mr. Lander as a leader and faculty member. 6 1 Superintendent of Schools Stephen E. Hart Dr. Hart, through his quiet but persuasive leadership, has brought Avon to national prominence as one of the leading schools in Massachusetts. Through the years he has done much for the students at Avon High and we, the class of 1966, acknowledge his efforts. Joseph Letorney, Principal We, the class of 1966, feel very fortunate in having had such a devoted and inspiring principal to guide us. We see in his character qualities which we hope to instill in ourselves. His ability to under- stand the individual student has made him as much a friend as a principal. 8 MR. EDWARD FOGARTY and MR.
