mm - A good teacher is a friend as an instructor, and Miss Braden has been both during her first year at Avon High School. Among her students she is highly respected. As yearbook advisor, Miss Braden has spent many hours with the Sonnet staff, making Avon ' s first yearbook an outstanding one. Her efforts in helping the staff pro- duce this yearbook can never be rewarded adequately. We express our deepest appreciation to the individual who has made our year- book possible.

ATHLETICS 4 o V ,V Every new year at Avon High School has been a year of fun, experience, and learning - experience through as- sociation with new classmates and new teachers; fun from sports, organizations, and even daily classes; and learning from the dedicated teachers. Although we lookback fondly on our school days, we, the Seniors of 1962, realize that we must go forward to assume our re- sponsibility as future Americans. Her inspiring instruction, her generosity, and her quiet dignity have contributed much to the success of our class. She has shown more than a teacher’s interest in her pupils, and is always willing to give a student time and ad- vice.
