That the Senior Class of 1962 should take tno lead in this new endeavor is highly commendable. Oftentimes , as the years go by, the memories of subject matter, teachers and student friendships DR. It is fitting then, that the Class of 1962 should seek to retain those memories, should strive to recapture the spirit of student days by creating this Yearbook which contains their record of in- dividual and group achievements and the ever youth- ful faces of those with whom they shared their teen- age years at Avon High School. Her inspiring instruction, her generosity, and her quiet dignity have contributed much to the success of our class. She has shown more than a teacher’s interest in her pupils, and is always willing to give a student time and ad- vice. MntSMthuurts To The Class Of 1962:- The Yearbook of the Class of 1962 represents a Mixture of many talents and interests. If is a particularly worthwhile project because of the difficulties which had to be overcome in reviving this type of publication after a lapse of some years. The Class of 1962 has done an admirable piece of work, not only in producing this Yearbook, but in arranging the financial support which is so necessary if it is to be a complete success. This Yearbook represents one of the most tangible » hi 9h school • »s pages portray the hard work and good times of your youthful days in a way that will revive memories of Avon High School long after they are clouded by time. 1 wish to congratulate not only the students who have produced and financed this Yearbook, but also the class which has so enthusiastically produced it.
