The fall squad provided top-notch cheering during outstanding seasons for both the soccer and football teams. In addition, the winter squad did an equally commendable job cheering for wrestling and basketball. Easy does it, Missy! Members of the gymnastic team psyche themselves for their performances. The Falcons fly high - Kay Carey on beam. Once the pressure is off, members cheer for their teammates. The Girls' Gymnastics Team posted a 13-4 winning record this season, one of the best in recent years. The high points of their season included surpise victories over Berlin and East Windsor and their first-place performances in the Christmas Tour- nament. Back Row: L, Heath. The J.V. Cheerleaders going their own ways The Avon High School Drill Team, like the Cheerleaders, had two separate squads this year: one for fall and one for the winter. Respectively, the two drill teams performed their various, spirit- provoking routines for the football and basketball games. The two teams gave enthusiastic support through their cheers and helped to create excitement and spirit in the crowd. Thanks girls! DRILL TEAM
