Coach Startup instructs her players, Lisa with another clutch slam. The Volleyball season this year had a promising beginning. Coach Startup's patience and faith carried the team through the disappointing spots of the season. Highlights of the season included the selection of Mary- Ellen Normen to the first team of the NWC and a triumphant win over Farmington C8-15, 15- 8, 15-11, 16-14l. The J.V. team which achieved a record of 11- 3, will make next year's season an impressive one.

The Boys' Cross Country Team finished off their season with an impressive 18-4 record. Top runners Tom Gately and Jeff Hyman, coupled with the depth of Scott Pass and Dave Hoekman, led the team to first place in the Windham Invitational, victory over arch-rival Farmington, and the Northwest Conference Championship. Tom and Jeff also ran well enough in the state Class M meet to qualify for the state open race in which they fared very well. . Even with a broken arm Mark runs.
