HOMEC EVE Homecoming Day at Avon High was October 24, 1952. The day was full of unforgetahle events. The hand led the parade through town. The Seniors received top honors for their float. At half-time of the foothall game, in the evening, the hand performed and the identity of the King and Queen was revealed. CMING we won by a 44-0 margin over Biggsville High. The Coronation, which consisted ofthe crowning ofthe King and Queen, the presen- tation of corsages to the attendants, and a grand march, was held -during the intermission of the dance. The dance music was fur- nished by Bill Christiansen's orchestra.
