PeOTHffi SIflff In the fall of 1949 the Editor was chosen for the publication of this year- book. Not knowing the worries that were to trouble her, she accepted the appointment. The rest of the staff was soon chosen. Despite the work done by the editor, Ann Pepple, it would have been impossible to have published this book without the combined efforts of the other members of the staff. Aiding her were Wretha Stice, assistant editor; Janis Whan, activities ed- itor; Lavon Rhodes and Retha Fischer, typists; Mary Foster, alumni editor ; Doris Castator, circulation manager; Bob Walt and Carl Christensen, pho- tographers; Hugh Reynolds, art editor. Not to be forgotten is the invaluable asssistance given by Paul Schilling, advisor, and Mrs. Sisson, proof reader. Allen Owen, business manager, did an excellent job of securing suffi- cient funds through the selling of advertising space. He was ably assisted by Floyd Butler , who was in charge of advertisement, Carl Christensen, Forrest Parks, and Paul Wolf. As you leaf through the pages of this book, we, the Staff, hope that you find it to be enjoyable and interesting and trust that again and again you will reread its pages. 27
