$€PH€M€CE§ There were 42 pupils enrolled in the Sophomore Class this year. Their number hasn ' t changed throughout the year. Under the sponsorship of Robert Miller the following officers were elected; President, Floyd Butler; Vice President, Forrest Parks; Secretary, Dorothy Rimmel; Treasurer, Ruth Uhl. On November 10, the Sophomores traveled to Kendallville to see Welcome Stranger at the Strand Theater. JLNICI S The Juniors started under the capable sponsorship of Miss Miller, with the following officers: Richard Bender, President; Max Sneary, Vice President; Max Robart, Secretary; Raymond Bell, Treasurer. They have taken part in the following activities to increase their treasury fund: Selling candy and ice cream during noon and at home basketball games; selling headscarfs, blue and white beanies, magazines and Christmas cards. PCE$HMEN The Freshman Class of 47-48 started their school year with enrollment of 47 pupils. During the year Richard Smart and Lynn Kurtz withdrew. The sponsor appointed to the Freshman Class was Miss Finney. The officers were as follows: President, Madonna Ley; Vice President, Billy Miller; Secretary, Marilyn Scheurich; Treasurer, Wretha Stice. On October 6, the Freshmen enjoyed a pot-luck supper in the school gym and then attended a show at Kendallville.
