YE OLDE PANTHER STAFF You are probably all wondering who was responsible for this Panther of 1940. You have noticed us in the halls, since we were those tired, worried, pre-occupied looking souls who were carrying piles and piles of bulky books, messy papers, and dull pencils. We were also the high-pressure salesmen for the year book of ' 40. A skit, entitled Order Your Panther Now or Future Famous Faces on File for Further Fun , written by Kathleen Walt, was put on by us to enliven the campaign to sell annuals. Although ten years were added to our lives, we are happy to present this yearbook to you; and we wish all the seniors of next year the same fun, sorrows, and wrinkled brows that we have had in putting out this, Little book of memories. Filled with sorrow and with cheer. And may it just grow grander With each succeeding year. Page 24
