This year Student Council sponsored a week of activities centered around the students ' curriculum on Oxford campus. High points of the week included guest speakers, an English pub where near beer was served, an infirmary for sick or tired students, informal classes and lectures, and the wearing of academic dress. A Christmas party is given every year be- fore Christmas vaca- tion for students, fac- ulty and administration. Activities This year the party in- cluded a program of skits and entertainment --and Santa Claus, who brought along his fairy, Jeanie Bond.

Sister Olive Louise presented the Avila Medal of Honor to Dr. Kermit Phelps at Key Ceremony, in recognition for community service in Human Relations. Members of the senior class received their college keys at a ceremony held at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Two seniors, Martha Leahy (above) and Carolyn Soetaert, are pictured receiving their keys. A time to weep, and a time to laugh. A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
