' N'-7f1Cy Burnham' DANCE CLUB The newly formed Dance Club has proven itself quite active through this past year The girls have performed for assemblies both exchange and at home parent programs P.T.A. meet- ings, and in the All-School Play. ln addition to performing Modern Dance, the girls do primitive, folk, so- cial and modern iazz dances. The girls also learn lighting, make-up, and general back stage work for school productions, This past year the club was headed by Jeri Anderson, president, Jannette Hickey, vice-president, Sandra Ma- honey, secretary, and Jeannie Little- field, treasurer. MODES AND MANNERS CLUB The Modes and Manners Club, headed by president Howard Cle- ments, teaches students more about etiquette for dances, dat- ing, and social functions. FUTURE TEACHER'S CLUB The Future Teacher's Club hopes to interest good students in choos- ing teaching for their profession. The members investigate possible universities or colleges in antici- pation of their training. Two field trips a year are scheduled for this purpose. The club is now in the process of becoming affiliated with the national organization, the Na- tional Association Future Teach- ers ot America. Pat Cairns is the president while Linda Moskow holds the office of secretary- treasurer. Faculty sponsors are Mr. Earl Heckerman and Mrs. Mary Rood. QUILL AND SCROLL lt is reserved for those out- basic requirements estab- lished by the Society and its Local Chapters.
