CHESS CLUB The primary purposes of the Chess Club are to encourage membership in the club, teach new members how to play the game, and improve new and old members ability, skill, and appre- ciation of this ancient and intriguing game. Evening and afternoon meetings at which members participate in chess matches are one of the activities of the club. This club helps de- velop poise, grace, and posture. These qualities are learned through synchronized and propulsion swim- ming. Cheryl Cameron leads this club as president and Sally Hansen as the ever busy secretary-treasurer. These people have started a club that will grow and develop into one of the maior clubs on our campus.
