Together we have watched Aviation grow from a new school to a modern achievement and a credit to the South Bay. We have been thankful for our close relationship with our worthy successors and friends, the lower classmen, It has made our class outstanding and has benefited the entire school. Looking back at the events which occurred during the years, probably the most thrilling and important was when we received our first student body cards, This card became our key to the door of High School Life. Even more eventful was our sophomore year since it was our first year in the new Aviation High School. There were many firsts such as, The Christmas Candy Cane Lane Dance, and our first big Crescent League football game. Our iunior year was one of the best, with honors bestowed upon us for excel- lence in sports and sportsmanship. Then before we had the chance to feel too exhausted as upper-classmen, our senior year was almost over, We will always remember the Senior Party, Senior Ditch-Day at Disneyland and how very proud we were to win the Pioneer League football championship- and going to C.l.F. for basketball. The Junior-Senior Prom became a reality and the long hours involved in producing the Senior Play were forgotten in the welcome of the applause. Finally the last term paper was written, the final grades received and our senior year had settled among our many other cherished memories. And now graduation is before us and we are all nearer our goals, but we, Alma Mater of our lives. the Class of i96O, take a moment to salute Aviation High School, our always, its faculty, and the students, for these . . . the happiest years M 1 ,ar .gr , 5' 'Nil' - 4 5 . , it x . ag . Jani has been an honorary member of the senior girls' service group, Andreas, and has been most active in drama and dance.
