Time and distance are no longer obstacles in travel and commun- ication. People that were remote to us a few years ago are now our neighbors. Before we can learn to live with other people we must learn to live with ourselves. We must strive to over- come our personal weaknesses: prejudices, anger, and the creation of a gap between old and young. These are just a few of the things we must overcome if we are to live successfully with other people. The future of our community, country and world depends on you as an individual. I truly hope that this year you have developed in spirit and truth as much as you have developed in knowledge and the mechanics of learning.
