Superintendent’s Message To The Students of Avery School: An annual serves as a record of past accomplishments. It is a book of memories. As such, it does not reflect the true temper of the nation and world of which the school is a part. Today, die world is troubled and the American democracy that we hold so dear is facing a severe test at home and abroad. Many of the values your school has tried to impart become increasingly more important. As you take your place in the world, remember that the most vital component part of democracy is human relations - respecting the dignity and the integrity of the individual and the group.
