Although in ap- pearance it was the same as all the other rooms, a eertain very eharming lady, well versed in Latin and lfreneh, made this room a very interesting one. The Y-Teens found Nliss Lois furry a splended sponsor. Kliss Stella l,. C'arden's laugh and smile eaptured the friendship ol' all her students. No one eould ever forget her interpretations of Shakespeare's immortal eharaeters. Senior and junior lfnglish classes kept Miss Ciarden husy, hut not too busy to help in directing the elass plays. Nliss lfva lloover developed line lfnglish students in the junior high sehool. .-Xlong with her linglish elasses, Nliss Hoover taught a speeial eourse to the eleventh graders in the art ol' puhlie speaking. l'nder her leadership, the 'lirayalonette was well written and was always enjoyable reading.
