'tx- HOHEMAKING DEPARTMENT B Jeffers, Logue, Campbell Hackett, Deibler, Mahon Smith, Clinton, Hafer lancuso, V Jeffers The Homemaking Department of Austin High School consists of twelve students Throughout the year each member must com plete two home projects and two class projects These pro jects may be anything that the cl ss as a whole is interested in, such as Care of Infants, Home Nursing, Planning Menus, Grooming, Sewing, Preserving of Food, Clothing, and Food Budgeting This year the class prepared and served a banouet in honor of the Basketball Te m The capable supervision of Miss Prather w s evident as in all previous activities of the department On May 29th the girls had charge of a delightful tea to honor the graduates and their mothers immw THE LIBRARY CLUB Cercone, Severino, Kilbourne, Hartman Keck, Chase, Tingley, Sabetine R Rotello, Campbell, Gehris, Vanwh '09 Norek, VanVolkinburg, Smith, F Rotello The Austin High School is fortunate in having an excellently equipped library, the largest public school library in Potter county This year have been seventeen girls under the guidance of Miss Collins learning something about library science They have according the books learned that the books are classified and grouped to the Dewey Decimal System This means that all on any subject are found together Perhaps their greatest achievement has been the mending of more than a hundred books The girls have learned to take worn books apart and put them together with new material 0 , ' ' .,- , L.
