CLASS UP 1960 The freshie at his locker-a young man with an expanding set of values, rules, and responsibilities is now part of something entirely new to him, the division. The boys cmd girls he meets there will remain his good friends for a long time to come. Of course, there is another friend he will long remember-his division teacher. He will always be ready to help the freshie in the next four years. School has never been so appealing, and it seems to be getting better all the time. The mysteries of algebra are revealing themselves to him, problem by problem: and he has finally found out what makes an auto's engine tick. Gym games and calesthenics are exhilarating, and the Band, Orchestra, and music classes give him a chance to become another Sousa or Sinatra. Assemblies and shows entertain him. Yes, this freshie and his locker are ready to take on all corners at Austin.
