The cramming for an exam as you dashed to a class, your favorite teacher, the fire drills, the assemblies, all those 7:45's, the teams, the clubs, these are the things which are never to be forgotten. MATH Science is constantly making our everyday lite more technical, therefore, knowledge ot math has become important to everyone. Austin's math courses include everything from elementary algebra and plane geometry, through which we all struggle as freshmen and sophomores, to college algebra, trigonometry, and solid geometry for the more capable math students. PHYSICAL EDUCATION Austins gyrn classes turn out physically tit boys and girlsi Swimming, health classes, showers, exercises, basketball, and volleyball are part of the program. W. ,,,, M 2' .. 'W am V X X lt may look as if these math students are working a weird oriental puzzle but in realrty, Fred Spears, Carolyn latte, and lohn Boehm are marking a sphere in solid geometry. Touch with chin and not the chest, back straight, don't bend the knees, are just some ot' the commands Mike Silverman and lerry Loftus are sure to hear while doing pushups in gym.
