Brush, a graduaTe oT Drake UniversiTy, came To AusTin in l9l6 as a Teacher in The social sTudies and commercial deparTmenTs, ln l92O he was appoinTed To The oTTice oT assisTanT principal and held This posiTion unTil his reTiremenT in January, l95l.
