X I I my 2-gafl, - ' wx V .uw MRS. LILLIAN HILL Born in England, Mrs. Hill moved to America in 1920. She began working in the Austin cafeteria in 1930 where she stayed for twenty years. Mrs. Hill has been a favor- ite studyhall teacher of Austin students for ten years. Aside from her career at Austin, She participated in many church and civic organizations. MRS. WILLIE INGLES During Mrs. Ingles's teaching career at Austin she has not only guided students to a better understanding of mathematics, but instilled in them a yen for leaming. Many Austin students remark You can't help but learn in Mrs. Ingles's class. DEDICATION lust as the cultured pearl has to be Watched, guided, and cared for during its growth and formation, so the student must be guided through his formative years In thanks and appreciation for their devo- tion, patience, and kindness, the Round-Up MR. O. A. LABBE . Mr. Labbe, one of Austin's favorite science teachers, received his bachelors degree from Louisiana and his master's degree from Texas Western College. During his teaching career, he has taught all the sciences from general science to physics. At Austin he has taught both chemistry and physics. WW, ,Jw Q , 14 ff Staff dedicates the nineteen-hundred and sixty annual to Mrs. Lillian Hill, Mrs. Willie Ingels, Mr. O. A. Labbe, and Miss Beatrice Markgraff. They have all been members of the administration for thirty years and are truly pearls to Austin. MISS BEATRICE MARKGREFF Miss Beatrice Markgraif began her career at Austin as a Physical education teacher. Later she became a tennis coach. She is now the head of the Biology depart- ment. Miss Markgraff has sponsored the Senior Nation- al Honor Society for the past seven years and has parti- cipated in many school activities. H!
