Christmas, which highlights the season, in- cludes the annual can goods drive and also the beauty contest. El Pasoans very seldom experience freezing weather, but this year we had cold weather a c c o m p a n i e d by some snow. Following Christmas is the time of the Senior Follies, climaxed by graduation of the Ianuary Senior Class. Christmas brings the annual canned-goods drive. This year the mighty Seniors won! All in all, fall of 1959 has stamped a lasting impression on the minds of the students of Austin High School. Iudy Hall looks on while Douglas Reynolds, President of Senior National Honor Society, presents Miss Beatrice Markgraii, their sponsor, with an orchid corsage at the annual induction cere- mony.
