ALAN STINSON Alan did an excellem job as president of the Club Panel m the lall and as president of the Student Council in the spring, For the spring term, Alan is Commissioner -at -Large. An ac- tive member of many clubs, he is an R.O.T.C oiiicer. ANN WINTHER As our fail Assistant Student Manager, Ann did a wonderlul job in planning our assem- blies. Ann IS secretary of the senior class. She was Area President in F.H.A. and served on the Student Council three semesters. BOBBY BROWN Bobby has done outstanding work in promot- ing Morning Watch. He has been a member of out basketball team for three years and served as captain m the third year. Bobby w as also Low IV Commissioner and Commis- sioner-at -Large. He is Vice - President of the Senior Class. ROUND UP PRESENTS i JANET CHAPPELLE and NANCY COLE Both Janet and Nancy are called upon for many extra jobs because oi their dependabili- ty. Jonei did on outstanding job as advertis- ing manager oi the Round-Up. Nancy carried more than her share of the rcsponsibiltics tor the Senior Class. VIRGINIA BARRON Virginia has participated in all the activities of the Girls ' Physical Education Department and has been president of the Girls ' Athletic Association. MARY ALFORD Mary planned our assemblies this spring as Assistant Student Manager. She is active in school affairs and has represented Austin well in many outside activities. 20

BOBBY KIRBY Bobby was Vice - President of the State D. E. Club. He is an alternate lor the scholarship ollered by the University ol Houston. CYNTHIA LORD Cynthia was Valdiclonan oi the January Sen- ior Class. She was president of the Pan-Amer- ican Club and served on the Student Council. Cynthia was also in National Honor Society and received the Spanish award at graduation. GEORGE MILLER George won honorable mention in the Nation- al Westinghouse Search for Talent Scholarship, He also won the Science award at graduation George served as president of the Science Club. EDITH ZANGWELL Edith ' s work in the Span- ish Department has been excellent. She has main- tained an A average dur- ing her eight semesters of Spanish. She is an ac- tive member of the Pan- American Club.
