uf O.J!f!f Ioe Lambert Sue lean Lynch STUDENT MANAGER ASSISTANT STUDENT MANAGER STUDENT GOVERNMENT, SPRING TERM The spring term of the Student Government was headed by loe Lambert and Sue lean Lynch. To be elected to the position of a student commissioner is one ot the highest honors that one can receive during his high school years. On April twenty-third about five delegates were sent from the Student Commission to the State Convention of Texas Association of Student Councils at Dallas. They expect, with the cooperation ot the Chamber ot Commerce, to get the meeting of the 1938 Convention in El Paso. This organization erected a plaque in the School Library in memory of Miss Ermen Markgraif, their former sponsor. Mr. Owen A. Labbe was the able sponsor for the latter half ot the term. The Student Commission is one ot the most outstanding organizations of Austin High School. It is the governing body of the school.
