Foreword Our School Life for the past tour years has been tour-told: scholastic, civic, athletic, and social. These tour phases we, the staff ot the Maroon and White Annual, have embodied in this bool: to illustrate the much alive spirit that has prevailed at our school even in these years ot depression and to give our schoolmates a worthy memory bool: ot these never-to-be-forgotten high school years and the school where we spent them. It is our sincere wish that in the years to come the Maroon and White Annual of l935 will contribute both to pleasant memories ot lite at Austin and to keeping alive the ambitions and enthusiasms we have learned to cherish here.
