The Eagle second team won 13 of 18 games, only one of their defeats was o- ver Z points. Although four regulars, Coons, DeWitt, Lewis and Perry will be lost by graduation from the first team this year, the performance oi the Freshmen and sophomores on the second team makes the basketball outlook at Austin promising for the next two or three years. Players with first team experience will be lacking early in the 1946-47 season but with the keen competition for regular places on the squad. it is felt that a very good team can be developed as the season progresses
