Being in High School was a very unusual experience and not knowing how to act we we- re labled Green Freshmen. When we enrolled we had 34 pupils but to our regret we lost four pupilsg Richard Hickman, james Hickman, Charles Blankenbaker, and Kenneth Smith, We have gained Cleotha Lee Danner from Lexington, Carl Bowen from ln- dianapolisg Coleman Smith from New Albany and j.C,Lyttle from Hazard, Kentu- cky. Our class officers this year have been, Fred Kelly, President, Ronald Ba- xter, Vice Presidentg Cl oyd Rose, Treasureg Delbert Burris, Secretary, Mr. B- ridges, Sponsor. This has been a very enjoyable year for all of us, We are sorry it is soon to close. But next year we will be more fitted to play our role as Silly Sopho- Y ll more s.

agopfrmzzore C4255 ffflszlory The Sophomore class entered their Freshman year with forty pupils. We lost quite a few pupils during our Freshman year. Thomas Farris now in the Armyg Wilbur julian, H 'mer Mosier, Mary Peden, Louise Mosier, Ella Howard, Irene Howard, Mary Wiesman, and Burdett Cornett. One of our classmates, Bert Bowling is now in the Freshman class of '45- ' 46. During our Sophomore year we have lost: james Jones and Dorothy Kanatzer Kenneth Watson did not return this year. We have gained one new pupil during our Sophomore year. Alfred Cathcart, who quit in the middle of his Sophomore year, joined us this year. We are very glad to have him as a classmate and as the president of our class. Vice-presi- dent, Robert Hounchellg Secretary, I H. Hubbard, Treasurer, Phyllis Carlisle, Student Council, Virgil Clark are our class officers of '45-'46. Our officers of '44-'45 were: President, I. W. Shieldsg Vice-president, Ken- neth Watsong, Secretary, I. H. Hubbard, Treasurer, Iohn Rigelsg Student Council, Burdett Cornett. During our Freshman year our sponsor was Mr. Bridges. This year our sponsor is Mr. Sarver. Our class has enjoyed all of the parties and activities that have been made possible by our sponsors and we want to thank them for the help and consideration they have given this class. During our two years we've been in High School we have sponsored two shows. In our Freshman year we made 330.00 on our show. ln our Sophomore year we made 31143. All of our class gave its sympathy to John Rlgels who during our summer vacation was shot in the leg by accident. Six of our classmates were on the 45-46 basketball team. Harold Rose was on the first team. Robert Hounchell, Rpbert Smith, I. H. Hubbard, Charles Spry, and john Rigel were on the second team.
