Another David Stautz, photographer, helps Judy Twidwell and June Hixson get ready for the Comet sales drive. ingsWe Remember Spirit signs taped on steps are part of the efforts of the Red Jackets, the Spirit and Sportmanship Committee, and cheerleaders to raise the enthusiasm for the Mac game thoughout the school. These are the things we remember about AHS. The seniors will soon graduate; the juniors and sophomores will always remember these things about their schooleAustin High. Austin has many TiannualsTi but this year the Student Council outdid itself. The Short Branch Saloon was setting for the Talent Show. A' special faculty breakfast was held in honor of Mr. Anderson's birthday. As Comets go on sale, the editors and assistant editors swing into gear to make the many deadlines. This year the class with the greatest percentage who bought the T62 Comet got a free theater party at the Texas. Seniors saw iTThe Man That Wags His Tail Dec. 4. Yes, we shall remember all these things and someday we shall want to return to the scene of these memories. Commemorating Veterans Day, David Chapman and John Emerson, president and vice president of the student council, place a wreath on the AHS monument.
