Each club and organization does its part by helping the needy, giving parties for the underprivileged, and Christmas caroling for unfortunate people who are unable to get out to enjoy the season. A Christmas music festival and pageant is always presented by the Choral Department. Singing at the festival this year were the Mixed Choir, Maroon Chorale, and the Bel Canto Singers, under the direction of Miss Virginia Decherd and Mrs. Bettye Lumpkins.
