John Berkman, Nancy McCullough, and Ann Hill help students get school supplies before class at the Student Store. Student teachers attend one of their many briefing sessions. Six months of waiting is over. The AHS halls are filled with noisy students much earlier the morning seniors get class rings. Three boys even spent the night in the arcade. Students will remember the Candy Store managed by the different clubs and the last minute stops at the NHS Student Store for school supplies. Student Council begins their fall session With the election of officers. Senior pictures arrive and student teachers become an active part of the school days as they teach students in many classrooms. David Chapman, John Emerson, Roberta Kent, John Stitt, Teddy Griffith, Charles Guerrero, Pebble Stone, and Debbie Blandy, fall SC officers, are proud of the new Recognition Board. Seniors fill the foyer to overflowing ordering class pictures during lunch.

Homecoming nominees Nancy McCullough, Theo Wilkes, and Georgann Evans nearly fly in anticipation of the Homecoming game and the announcement of the Queen. nnual Homecoming Queen Named Theo Wilkes was presented as the 1961 Homecoming Queen during the half time of: the Temple-Austin game Oct. 20. The traditional one dozen long stemmed red roses were given her by David Chapman, president of the fall Student Council. The Homecoming nominees Nancy McCullough, Georgann Evans, and Mary Ann Hamilton were driven around the field in a 1962 Ford convertible by John Emerson, vice president of the fall Student Council. mi? 1 , V '74s 1 WW David Chapman, fall Stu- dent Council president, pre- sents Theo Wilkes with the traditional red roses while the band plays uMoonlight Serenade?
