Austin students are on the move. Preparations get underway for school-sponsored trips to Corpus Christi for the Ray Texan game and to Waco for the Tiger game. Most students go on the buses provided, but there are Still a few who travel by private car. For those who cannot o to the out-of-town. games, House Park is the usual site of Austirfs games. Spirit rises and rises as the Mighty Maroons go into a winning streak. gm t y'- Becky Brent, Carol Burkhardt, Tina Shanks, Carolyn Hunnicutt, and Cheryl Reynolds display their artistic talent While waiting for the trip to Corpus. Enthusiasm is stirred up at a Friday morning pep rally Which is traditionally concluded with uLoyal Forever? Sophomores cheer Maroons to victory over the Temple Wildcats during a home game. 17

An alhschool pep rally before the Travis game is also a welcomed break 111 the routine schedule. Coach Tolbert informs the student body of the importance of school spirit.
