Five dclock comes early August mornings for the Red Jackets and Maroon B'amd members after weeks of sleeping late, but they willingly get up to prepare for the football season that lies ahead. Many hours are spent in practice for the halftime performances that last such a few minutes. Majorettes Kandy Menefee, Mary Davis, Margie Campbell, Diane Cottingham, and Jan Sorrell practice in an empty stadium during the summer months.
