4. l1,i,,i!f 5 if ig' . j 'K',, ' 1- K p Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday we have assemblies at Austin High. The variety of these activities is endless. We enjoy performances by the Mixed Choir, the band, the orchestra, and individual talent. We see cuts of Red Dragon plays and we listen to many interesting speakers. Among the assemblies, the Brotherhood Week presentation of representatives from the Protestant, Catholic and Iewish faiths and the football team's talent assembly were standouts. The chance to present an assembly explaining its activities is open to any organization in school. t I SHE'S lNIY DUNCAREE DOLL is danced by Snc Hamlctt and Ann Lem- burg in the football assembly which was prcscntcd to raise money to pay for the football team's new whirlpool bath. AND YVHEN HE SINCS THAT SCARLET RIB- BONS . . . - The sound of a pin dropping would have echoed through the auditorium while jerry Scarborough sang to us. His performance was one of the most memorable ones of the year.
