The mid point of each school year is a time for starting anew and for re-evaluation. As we look back on the past semester we are able to see our mistakes and how we may avoid future ones. After final examinations everyone starts afresh. There are new classes, new textbooks, in some cases new teach- ers, and best of all a chance to make new acquaintances. Each semester we are given a chance to choose new Student Council oflicers. This year the first semester's officers, Iohn D. Reichert and Virginia NValker, were followed the second semester by Carole Keeton and Richard Castruita. Almost every organization in the school follows the Student Councilis pattern of re-organization. Clubs are re-formed along with many of the other school organiza- tions. The end of the old semester and the beginning of the new is a time then to discard the failures and look toward future successes. at: djlsg .X 4 -.. f -r-s--i. 7 ,pw IT'S ELECTION TIME AGAIN as student officer candidates compare speeches in preparation for the presentation assembly.
