Home Making teachers work with the knowledge that trom their classrooms go the future homemakers of America. In the accurate toss of a ball or the effective swing of a raquet. students gain prechion and grace. In the competitive game and the formal drill. they galn strength and vigor. Since disciplined minds and trained bodies are essential to successful living. the Physical Education Department plays an important part ln our school curriculum. FACULTY

Training in the physical sciences has become more and more vital in a world that depends upon the latest in re- search and invention. 'l'he Physical Science Department seeks to train the student so that he may design a better mouse trap, invent more economical methods oi life, and devise more etiec- tive checlrs on disease. erosion. and the ills that do beset us. FACUL fi? The study ot languages acquaint: the student with the idioms. the traditions. and the customs of other peoples. It facilitates an understanding of and a sympathy with all nationalities. The Language Arts teachers have missed no opportunity to further this under- standing. to teach tolerance and ac- ceptance in this post-war One World. TY
