,-Q! ,fr ff av ix. Ak.. 1. Mr. Willingham . . . with his lively sense of humor and sayings, he set off a spark that enliv- ened our usually dull agriculture classes, making them lots of fun! 2. Miss Harrison . . . devoted herself 'to make happy, intelligent users of books, and, with the poor material we furnished her, succeeded quite well . . . wholeheartedly declared that High School activities and antics furnished the most entertainment of any age group. 3. Mrs. Mclnis . . . expected us to behave like little angels in gym and we did-when she was looking . . . her informal classes, with her clever sayings thrown in, helped develop our minds and bodies with healthy, vigorous training and exercise. 4. Miss Goff . . . 'Radius of what? . . . the moon? that master mathematician would say as she showed us we did not have the number sense we thought . . . avid lover of flowers, always had a rose somewhere about her person or desk. 5. Mr. Barnette . . . co-ordinator of the science department . . . chemistry students were espe- cially grateful to this jovial man for introducing qualitative analysis to the course of study.

'Let's get out our notebooks, would start another stretch of copying about the greats in history. 3. Mr. Beaty . . . reserved at first, but a swell person when you got to know him . . . Miss Buchanan . . . we all called her 'Dulcei and thought she was just that-sweet . . . through her girlish spirit she made the orchestra one of the best in the state. 5. Mrs. Wofford . . . They were severely criticized for many little things that in other people would have passed by unmen- tioned . . l. Mr. Lambert . . - rule-enforcing coach who lived football . . . his Maroon teams thought the best of him even though they really felt each afternoon's work-out. 2. Mrs. Boon . . . beautiful brown, friendly eyes, soft grey hair welcomed us to the sanctuary of gruesome skeletons and embalmed frog legs . . . 'Now, if you urchins will get quiet' . . . and so continued another interesting period of microscopic study of protozoa. 3. Mrs. Massie . . . sailed through the library strew- ing green cards in her wake to troublesome students . . . this dignified lady readily helped us choose the road to the storied classics. 4. Miss Culley . . . 'If I've told you this before stop me,' was the introduction to an up-to-date joke illus- trating ancient history . . . cartoons and sports pictures cluttered up the bulletin board, but made it more inter- esting. 5. Miss Dickard . . . her love for math and people made each hour seem only a few minutes . . . her way of teaching math accomplished the impossible . . . making even us enthusiastic about math, too.
