Counselors Agnor, Bumes, and Whitaker Even though he was chief dispenser of capitallpunishment for the troublesome stu- dents in school, a session with Mr. Wittner did not always mean hours in the ofling. Often a lecture from him would procure the desired result. No, he was not at all the cool, cruel monster certain of the lower element like to paint him.
