To it will fall the task of renewing and strengthening commercial institu- tions--the trade and industry that have been halted by the war. The industrial department of Austin High School, the first in the state of Texas, has long realized the importance of mechan- ical skill, which adds agility to the mind and deftness to the hands. lt is helping to train future citizens for the tasks of recon- struction.
