F' .fha G mei E.DlTOR'S NOTE-As a guide to the writing between the Senior panels, THE COMET wishes to explain that the actual name comes first, the nickname follows, and last is the vocation that the Senior has chosen or that THE COMET has chosen for said Senior. The vocations starred denote the life work suggested by THE COMET as one suitable and pleasing to the graduate. We feel sure that our selections are more suitable than the ones the students chose' for themselves in many cases and will meet the approval of all. Preserve this book for ten years and see how much more often our predictions come true than the ones not starred. THE COMET Staff has exercised great care in the selection of poetry. With great depth of soul and earnestness of purpose, we have striven to inspire every graduate with a higher view of life by means of the verse we gave to them. We express our greatest appreciation of the help given to us here by Shakespeare, Mother Goose and old Mr. Anon.
